Much cheaper and faster than local shops
It would be nice if eyebuydirect offered more larger frame options. The widest frame was 149mm and only had one selection available. Luckily that one choice looked nice. For anyone looking the frame name is Madon. The frames look good but the coffee color has a bit of a purplish hue. The arms and lense frames seem stout but the bridge has a little more flex than I would like to see. With the 2 day shipping option I had them in my hand on the third day, one day was a holiday. The prescription seems to be spot on and I can see great with my new lenses. The price was a third of what my last two pairs have cost through a local shop.
Great wide frames
Hard to find frames wide enough to fit my head but these fit great. They are built strong and even have spring loaded arms. Bought them late Sunday evening and had them in my hand at 6:15pm on Wednesday. Would have likely had them earlier but Monday was Labor day. The last several pairs, bought from local shops, have cost three times as much and took over a week to receive. My only critique is the coffee color has a bit of a purplish hue. I had expected more of a dark brown.
