I got the 1.74 index, even if I didn’t need them that strong, and they’re nice and clear for reading.  Very comfortable fit. No adjusting needed. 
I have these in Transitions 1.6 index, so was familiar with them.

I LOVE these frames so much! They are so light that I barely feel like I’m wearing anything at all. They are sleek, modern, subtle, and I feel like they don’t compete with my face or clothes. They don’t pinch the sides of my head and they also don’t slip down. It was such a huge relief to put them on after I’d been wearing the “cheapies” from my insurance. The cheapies didn’t have anti-reflective coating and that is a MUST, otherwise my eyes and brain feel tired from trying to ignore all the unnecessary reflections, so these were immediately relaxing! Also, the photo chromatic coating is a must for my light sensitive eyes and I feel like these look like something out of the Matrix when these turn into sunglasses (which I love).

To find the best fit for your glasses, first you should look for the perfect <highlight>frame width</highlight>.

A frame that’s slightly wider than your face is a good place to start — no more than a finger width between the temple and your face is a good rule of thumb.

If you’ve already got a pair of glasses that fit, measure <highlight>from screw to screw</highlight> on the face front for a good idea of the frame width.

You’ll also sometimes see other measurements on the temple (arm) of your glasses.
