I’ve had these glasses for quite awhile. They have been great! I’m back with a new prescription.

"So far so good"

First time trying EBD. Came from recommendation from Wirecutter. Initially ordered the cella and another frame both with 1.6 index and BLB. They both were very difficult to see out of and the blue reflection was too much. However, I liked the cella frame so I returned both test pairs and ordered the cella but in 1.7 and with no BLB. I am pleased so far as it seems the increased thinness of 1.7 eliminated the difficulty I had with the test pair. Quality seems good. I don’t foresee any longevity issues. I wish it had the flex thing at the hinge which makes taking them on and off easier. Initially, the cella was hurting the top of my right ear but that was fixed after loosening the part that curves into the ear. I liked the virtual “TRY ON” feature and it definitely influenced my decision to try EBD along with the intuitive UI throughout the entire buying process. I wish the lense selection part was more transparent in explaining precisely what each feature and “upgrade” offers with pricing more visible. I would like to see more frame options in the future. Overall, I would try EBD again. Like many others, I normally buy from or go through the optometrist and end up paying $400+ for a mediocre frame with the thinnest lense (I think 1.74) and BLB. EBD for the same thing was $110 and took a FRACTION of the time. Never going through scam optometrists again.
